The “CINCH DIET”
Background
The Cinch program was created by Shaklee, one of the leading companies in natural nutrition and green cleaning products in the USA. As a leader in the direct selling industry for over 56 years and a Fortune 500 Company, Shaklee has recently entered the diet industry with the introduction of Cinch, a weight loss program featuring a series of products combined in one package or you can purchase products individually based on your consumption.
What to Eat
The Cinch program is a complete all-in-one set that include a meal replacement shake mix, meal replacemnet bars, a vitamin complex, an assortment of snack bars, slimming energy tea and a shaker cup, program guide, pedometer and a membership in Shaklee’s own online Cinch Club for weight loss tips, inspiration and recipe ideas. To follow the program, simply combine all the products contained following the instructions provided (which vary depending on your current weight and goals). You can eat one meal replacement for breakfast and/or lunch a day with the Cinch Shakes or the Cinch Meal Bars. At dinnertime, you choose one of the recipes featured in their booklet (mostly proteins and vegetables) or you can prepare a sensible meal of your choice using the program guide for ideas.
The Good
No calorie counting, no complicated recipes or measurements to follow. Some of the accessories included, like the pedometer and the CD, are actually helpful. The products are all natural and safe… no harmful drugs or side-effects and with each meal, you take a three-in-one boost supplement with ingredients that help kick up metabolism, retain normal blood sugar levels, and supply nutrients to your body so you don’t feel hungry or have temptations to binge. Many of the products have an herb called Leucine… Leucine is an essential amino acid, which cannot be manufactured in the body and used by many body builders because it helps your body retain muscle and lose fat.
The Bad
Some people really enjoy eating breakfast and lunch. It’s definately a life changing choice to begin a Cinch Diet if you want to achieve good weight loss results. Cinch may also be a little expensive for some people’s budget.
Exercise
A Cinch Coach software CD featuring tools to help you track calories, exercise and measurements is included in the starter kit, as well as a pedometer and a tape measure. Shaklee also offers the online Cinch Club for free for 3 months for online support, tips, and recipe ideas.
